Welcome to the Norman Morris Library
Welcome to the Norman Morris Library

Mr Norman Morris was Principal of Tauranga Boys’ College from 1971-1984. Due to the depth of his contribution to education and TBC in particular, it was fitting that the centre of learning and the base for academic enquiry, the school library be named after him.
The Library is open everyday before school, during breaks and after school. During class time, teachers may book their classes in, or students may be sent to the Library for independent study or to change their books.
We have a great collection of fiction and non-fiction books. In particular we have a large collection of graphic novels which are very popular with our students.
Our staff are well catered for with a well resourced ‘Reading for Pleasure’ section.
The Library is staffed by a full-time Librarian, a part-time Library Assistant and assisted by Student Librarians
