Student Support

Tauranga Boys' College has a long association with students from all over the world. The support is individualized and we accept responsibility for our student's welfare at school and in their home stay.

International students have their own guidance system with a Director of International Students looking after their individual needs. Students have personalized attention. The particular needs of students arriving in a new country without family support are met. Buddies are provided to help students adjust to school routines. Regular communication over events and issues relating to International students is provided. An open door policy means that students have access to someone who will help with their specific concerns.

Tauranga Boys' College has a permanent, full time, English as a Second Language (E.S.O.L.) Department which caters for the English language support of all students
