As the school year finishes, one of the traditions we have established at this time of year has been recognizing those boys who have shown excellence behavior and attendance throughout the year. This is the third year we have done this. This is emphasized with a consistent message about respect for self, others and our school, being delivered in a number of forums from the classroom, sports field, cultural arena and in Administration and Principal's assemblies.
Congratulations to the 255 Year 9 boys and 211 Year 10 boys who received acknowledgment. They have had a great year and it is heartening to be able to acknowledge this number of boys. These boys who do the right thing, and exhibit the expected behavior and level of attendance will have this recognized in their end-of-year report. It was particularly pleasing to see the increased numbers at both year levels with Year 9 up from 140 in 2013 and 210 in 2014 and a significant increase in Year 10 from 126 in 2013 and 118 in 2014. This increase indicates the boys are getting the message explicit in our Respect Code and responding to our expectations.
