Enrol at Tauranga Boys' College

Tauranga Boys’ College has an Enrolment Scheme in place, and selection for entry to the school is based on the Ministry of Education enrolment regulations. It enrols students according to the provisions of Section 11D of the Education Act 1989 and the Education Amendment Act (No 3). 


In-Zone Enrolments for 2025 (all year levels)

If you live in the Tauranga Boys' College Zone click the blue "enrol" button below to enrol for 2025, there will be some information to read through first.

The following documents are required to be attached with your enrolment (please ensure they are all attached or the enrolment cannot be processed).

  • A copy of the student's birth certificate or passport

  • The student's most recent school report (or relevant screenshots of Reading, Writing, and Maths grades).

  • The student's NZQA record of learning (for students enrolling in Yr 11,12 or 13). 

  • Proof of permanent residence within our zone. 

This proof of residence document needs to be a current long-term tenancy agreement, a sale and purchase agreement, or a recent household power, rates or phone account. The document needs to clearly show the parent/caregiver's full name and their residential address.

In-Zone Enrolments for 2025 are to be completed where possible by the end of Term 3 (Friday 27th September, 2024) please. This will ensure that a student's subject selections can be provided for, if enrolments are submitted after this date, subjects cannot be guaranteed.  

                                                                                           

* Please note that our school office will be closed from Wednesday 18th December, 2024 - Monday 27th January, 2025.

Any online enrolment applications received will only be processed periodically, so please ensure that all documentation is attached and the online form is fully completed. Subject selection and any meetings required with Academic Tutors will occur from Tuesday 28th January onwards.
